I joined Dan-Bunkering Aalborg January 2015. Prior to that, I have had the pleasure and the challenge of more than 10 years in the industry including trading, procurement, and physical operations. I take pride in providing the right solutions to our clients while creating value for the ship owners. In my spare time, I enjoy time with my family and friends.
Emil Lynge Nielsen
I was born in Northern Denmark in 1989 and grew up in the countryside. I joined Dan-Bunkering in late 2014 but have been in the bunker business since 2011. I love the industry and the variety of the work it brings. International business allows me to travel, meet and socialize with great people. My spare time is often spent in the kitchen or in the wood shop. Seasonal recreation like sailing and skiing also has high priority.
I have been in the industry since 2012 and started working at Dan-Bunkering in 2014. I was born and raised in Aalborg. I have a Masters Degree in European Studies and International Relations partially from the UK where I lived and studied for a period. I very much enjoy working in an international company, where I get to speak to people from different parts of the world on a daily basis. I also enjoy the exciting challenges and the ebullient energy you face within worldwide trading. I speak Danish, English, and German. Most of my spare time is spend with friends and family, and on evening runs.
Senior Bunker Trader
I have spent close to two decades within the bunker industry – and I have loved every second of it. Being in an industry which both directly and in-directly influences our lives is for me a vital part of the thrill and excitement of coming to work every day. I enjoy being able to communicate globally across borders with clients and colleagues in a vibrant business environment. The cliché “not two days are alike“ is often used, but I do believe this is how the bunker industry really is. When not being in the office, I enjoy being together with my wife Lone and my two young daughters Frida and Filuka. Any spare time left is spent with friends and family, although I would never turn down a good game of golf.
