Dan Bunkering acknowledges methanol as a promising future fuel for the shipping industry as part of our efforts to support the decarbonization of shipping.
We recently bunkered the M/T Seymour Sun via the M/T Alsia Swan in collaboration with Uni-Tankers, one of our sister companies, to test bunkering procedures developed in cooperation with Methanex and Green Marine. We are grateful to our partner in Trinidad, Paria, for their assistance in ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Trinidad Port authorities, further strengthening our partnership. In addition to the successful bunkering, we will use the documented procedures and lessons learned to offer a supply solution for low-carbon methanol to our customers in the future.
