I was born in what used to be Yugoslavia, in Ohrid Macedonia. Having been in the Australian bunkering business for several years, I moved on to start Australia Bunkering Pty Ltd in January 2007, as Managing Director and in September 2018 we merged with and became Dan-Bunkering Australia. My field of responsibilities range from the day to day operations to taking strategic decisions to safeguard the company and its employees. In my spare time, my interests are cooking, shopping, holidays in the tropics, and enjoying life with my family and friends. I would describe myself as open minded, easy going with a good humor and a caring heart for the ones I love.
Languages spoken: English and Macedonian.
I joined the shipping industry in 2002, and have worked for port agents, shipowners, and cargo shippers ever since. This has given me a solid knowledge of Australian ports and related authorities, and also helps me to understand the needs and viewpoints of our customers. The international perspective of our business and daily interaction with people across the globe keep things fresh and interesting. I was born in Australia, and speak English. In my spare time I enjoy motorsport, football, cooking, and online gaming. I am looking forward to working with customers and applying past experiences to find new solutions for them.
I have been a part of this company since 2007. My main responsibilities are within finance and accounting and I have always enjoyed working in a fast paced environment. My previous roles have all been within the bunkering industry, and I cannot imagine working in a different culture than the one the bunkering business offers. My personal interests include reading, hiking in nature, gardening and cooking. Languages spoken: English and Mandarin.
I started my career in auditing with one of the top two accounting firms in Hong Kong decades ago and then moved on with Swissair from 1969 to 2002 in Hong Kong and Sydney. I migrated to Australia in 1985 and had the opportunity to join the team at startup in Sydney in 2007. Now after more than 10 years in my present role, I do not regret having done so. Most of my working life has been involved in the travel/transport industry and besides my work life, my interests are travelling (including cruising), gardening, cooking and catching up with friends and relatives abroad. I speak fluent English, Cantonese and my native dialect Hoi Ping.
