The port serves primarily as a bulk cargo station but handles break bulk, container, liquid bulk, dry bulk, passenger and ro-ro. It is owned and operated by Toronto Port Authority.
The terminals operated are: Marine Terminal 51, Warehouse 52 and The International Passenger Terminal.
