I was born in the Republic of Moldova and at 16 years old I moved to France to pursue my studies. I did a Bachelor of Business and Administration at Kedge Business School and Aarhus Business School and then I followed with a specialized Master in Energy at Grenoble School of Business. I started my energy career in the refining, trading & shipping industries in France, afterwards gained experience with fuel and shipping operations in Switzerland. During the trendy times of renewable energy, I took another challenge to explore and grow this business in Kazakhstan. Ultimately, my passion for oil and shipping industry pivoted me back into the fuel and shipping world. During my free time, I enjoy playing chess, swimming, hiking in the mountains and sailing sea boats. I am very excited to join the Dan-Bunkering group in which I truly hope to add value. I am delighted to contribute and look forward to bringing the best of my skills to the company’s continued success.

I was born in Black Sea coastal city Ordu in Turkey and grew up there. I finished International Relations at Bilkent University, and I speak Turkish and English. I have been in bunker industry since 2004 and I love this lively business a lot as it requires ongoing learning and keeps me young and motivated all the time. Besides; it helps me to get to know many different cultures and it is an unique opportunity for an explorer like me. In my spare time, I like cooking, reading various subjects and spending time with my family and friends.

I joined the shipping industry in 2002, and have worked for port agents, shipowners, and cargo shippers ever since. This has given me a solid knowledge of Australian ports and related authorities, and also helps me to understand the needs and viewpoints of our customers. The international perspective of our business and daily interaction with people across the globe keep things fresh and interesting. I was born in Australia, and speak English. In my spare time I enjoy motorsport, football, cooking, and online gaming. I am looking forward to working with customers and applying past experiences to find new solutions for them.

I am a Turkish national with long-term interest in the maritime industry. After successfully graduating from department of Maritime Transportation and Management Engineering, I worked on crude oil tanker ships. This led me to a career which was often challenging but always rewarding, as I was fortunate enough to travel and work globally which helped fostering an interest in other cultures and perspectives. I am very happy to be a member of the team at Dan-Bunkering. I speak Turkish and English and a bit of French and Spanish. Friends and family are very important to me, and I love visiting other countries (I’ve been in 76 countries until now). I am also a professional rhythmic gymnast since the age of four, and I also enjoy snowboarding and running with my fur-kid.

I began my career in bunkering in 2014 and have held various roles in the UK market prior to joining Dan-Bunkering Dubai. I have an undergraduate degree in English and a post-graduate degree in Law. Bunker trading was my first job after studying and I enjoy the constantly changing, entrepreneurial environment. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, going to the gym, cycling and spending time with friends and family.

Efficiency is when all aspects of something are functioning at optimum capacity. One of the core hinderances to efficiency is misunderstanding often due to a lack of communication. Through clarity of communication and understanding of the bigger picture I aim to operate efficiently in all aspects of the job.

I have been with Dan-Bunkering for more than 6 years. I have developed my expertise in especially the offshore sector, both in terms of understanding and knowing our clients’ requirements and also working with the suppliers and creating solutions together with them. It brings me great satisfaction to solve tricky and difficult situations to the benefit of our clients. In terms of geographical knowledge, I have strong focus on the West African market for deliveries offshore and in ports where the demand is often a little extra.

With 13 years’ experience in the Petrochemicals industry, Daniel has traveled extensively across Africa, dealing with Oil majors. He has traded chemicals to offshore rigs and vessels, and really understands the Oil sector and the difficulties that come with trading in Africa.

With more than 15 years experience of doing business in Angola and other African countries, one rule has stood the test of time for me: In Africa we get challenged, we rise to the challenge and we get the job done.

Born and raised in Greece, and obtained my BSc in Maritime Business and Logistics from the University of Plymouth in 2014. I have been working within the shipping industry, in various positions, since 2012. My focus lies in bunkers and lubricants trading, and with the opportunity I have been given in Dan-Bunkering I am keen to explore all of its aspects. I speak Greek, English and I am currently looking to improve my French. My spare time is spent with friends, travelling and extreme sports of all kinds and seasons.

My passion for shipping developed from a very young age. After graduating from the university in Greece in 2013, I have worked in various facets of the shipping industry which eventually led me to become a Bunker Broker and Trader. My career in the bunker industry began in 2017. By having customers and suppliers worldwide it has given me an opportunity to visit many new places and meet a lot of great and interesting people. I was born and raised in Baku city, Azerbaijan Republic. After graduating from the State Oil Academy in 2011, I joined the offshore industry where I was involved in different assignments both in drilling and the operational side as a Logistics Coordinator for 4.5 years. In 2016, I moved to Norway for my MSc studies in Oil and Gas Logistics from Molde University and before joining Dan Bunkering, I spent 7 months working full time as logistician in the purchasing department for the local engineering company in Molde. I enjoy the multicultural environment and challenges associated with bunker trading. I speak Azerbaijani, Russian, English, Norwegian, and Turkish. Apart from work I love to train (either gym or martial arts) and explore new cultures.

Born and raised in Italy, I grew up with the desire of living abroad, and moved to Monaco after finishing high school. I continued my studies with a Bachelor in Business Administration at the International University of Monaco and entered Dan-Bunkering Monaco before ending my education. Speaking Italian, English, French and Spanish, Monaco seemed like the perfect place where to pursue my career, and entering DB has given me the tools to put in practice my soft skills and practical competences. During my free time, I dedicate myself to the automotive world, for which I have since always nurtured a fervent passion, and actively participate to the social events that the Principality has to offer.

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece, and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping Business from the University of Piraeus in 2012. I was born and raised on a farm close to the border of Germany, where I attended a German primary school for 10 years. I joined the Dan-Bunkering office in Middelfart in 2021, after finishing my bachelor’s degree in German Business Communication. I enjoy working in an international environment where I get to meet and work with people from different countries and cultures. I always strive to achieve the best by doing the best I can. In my spare time I enjoy running, spinning and skiing.

I was born and raised in Denmark where I joined Dan-Bunkering in 2002. My career has taken me from Denmark to Monaco, Houston, Florida, and back to Monaco. I have enjoyed and still enjoy the challenging and ever changing environment in the shipping industry. I have been involved in trading, management and strategic business development and find motivation in continuously improving the way business is done by exploring new frontiers within technology and business practices. I enjoy an active lifestyle and take every opportunity I have to bike, swim, ski and sail.

Born in Norway, into a family with shipping and trading traditions going back generations. Raised and educated globally, I have lived on 4 continents, with the majority of my adult life spent in Asia. My passion is creating, building, developing and implementing, businesses. Bringing together partners with commercial, logistical and technical solutions to the mutual benefit of all parties. Dan Bunkering is providing me with a challenging opportunity to follow this passion. My spare time, when not enjoying the company of my wife and 3 children I spend cycling, sailing and participating in races in the region.

Born in Esbjerg, Denmark. Been working within shipping since 1981, where I started with A.P Møller in Houston, Texas. After 15 years (9 years in Copenhagen) I changed to work for J.Lauritzen as a bunker purchaser. Started with Dan-Bunkering Nov 2003. Mainly dealing with Danish clients and offering support to ship owners and bunker suppliers, when they become involved with marine fuel quantity or quality claims and disputes. I was born in what used to be Yugoslavia, in Ohrid Macedonia. Having been in the Australian bunkering business for several years, I moved on to start Australia Bunkering Pty Ltd in January 2007, as Managing Director and in September 2018 we merged with and became Dan-Bunkering Australia. My field of responsibilities range from the day to day operations to taking strategic decisions to safeguard the company and its employees. In my spare time, my interests are cooking, shopping, holidays in the tropics, and enjoying life with my family and friends. I was born in Denmark, 1997. Although my first name is Mathias Lennart, I only use Lennart. In 2017, I graduated from Sorø Academy boarding school and after that I worked as a Store & Event Manager in the catering business. I have spent close to two decades within the bunker industry – and I have loved every second of it. Being in an industry which both directly and in-directly influences our lives is for me a vital part of the thrill and excitement of coming to work every day. I enjoy being able to communicate globally across borders with clients and colleagues in a vibrant business environment. The cliché “not two days are alike“ is often used, but I do believe this is how the bunker industry really is. When not being in the office, I enjoy being together with my wife Lone and my two young daughters Frida and Filuka. Any spare time left is spent with friends and family, although I would never turn down a good game of golf.

I joined the bunker industry back in 2015 and to this day, I still love the diversity of the business. On a private note, I live together with my wife in Dubai and we are planning to move back to Denmark in March 2022. I spend a good amount of my spare time supporting my club, F.C. København.

I was born in Singapore and have a BSc in Maritime Business and Maritime Law from University of Plymouth, UK. Before joining Dan-Bunkering, I had a six month internship at an offshore company in Singapore. I enjoy working in a fast pace environment, therefore working in the bunker industry enables me to face new challenges and tasks daily. I speak English and Mandarin Chinese fluently. I am a huge fan of sports and my passions include working out and travelling. I look forward to assisting you with your bunkering needs and requirements.

I am a Mexican and Danish national. I studied Engineering but I realized that what really motivates me is trading. Dan-Bunkering gave me the opportunity to trade bunkers, for which I feel fortunate, and I try to work creatively to supersede both the customers’ and company’s expectations. Previous experience in the fields of trading, marketing and sales facilitate my tasks, however, in this industry there is constantly something new and the learning process is also fascinating. I travel a great deal to meet new people from around the world, hearing their opinions, learning from them, and helping whenever appropriate. I was born and raised in Ecuador, where I used to work as an external auditor before moving to the U.S in 2000. I am a native Spanish speaker, and I am also fluent in English. After working in accounting positions for a few years, I joined the bunker industry in 2004. During this time, I had the opportunity to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and agents from all over the world. There have been many changes in the bunker market over the last 2 decades, and I have kept my customers ahead of the curve by providing clear and sensible advice. In my leisure time, I love to cook, take my dogs for long walks, theater, and going to concerts with my husband.

The ever adaptable Simone Da Costa is a team player whose passion, attention to detail and organised nature are a welcomed asset at Dan-Bunkering.

Origin: Danish. I am a master graduate in interpersonal organization communication from the University of Aalborg, and I did my master thesis on how to create learning in sales organizations. Besides studying in Denmark, I also studied in Mexico and Spain, which made me very interested in other cultures and perspectives. To gather the concept of sales, traveling and learning, which are important to me, I decided to pursue a career in the bunker industry. This gives me the opportunities and set up the challenges to operate all over the globe, which makes me feel very privileged and fortunate. I speak English, basic Spanish and the Scandinavian languages. When not working I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Furthermore, I also appreciate a good game of golf or going to the gym for a good workout.

I have been a part of Dan-Bunkering for three years. I started out as a trader after completing my Bachelor's Degree from Copenhagen Business School. In addition to the shipping industry, I also have experience within the financial sector as well as the consulting industry. I am a part of our offshore team where we have great focus on guiding our customers through a complex, green market transformation in the best possible way. I love the international environment and a varied working life at a high pace. However, I still find it crucial to constantly keep the detail in mind. I grew up in the southern part of Jutland, close to the German border. The free time is spent on my girlfriend, family and friends. Football is also a big part of my everyday life as I am a big supporter of HSV and FC København.

I joined Dan-Bunkering in September 2018. I was born in 1998 in Hillerød, north of Copenhagen, and I spent seven years of my childhood living outside of Denmark in Jamaica and Vietnam. I returned to Denmark to complete high school at Middelfart Gymnasium. where I finished in 2017. After this I spent a year working as an au pair. I enjoy a challenging and vibrant work environment and in the bunker business I have found this. In addition, I am highly motivated and I love the competitive aspect. Prior to Dan-Bunkering I received my Masters Degree from Texas A&M at Galveston in Marine Resource Management focusing on Environmental Regulations effect on Maritime Business. I started working at Dan-Bunkering in 2010. I am originally from China, but I have lived in Denmark for several years obtaining a master''''s degree in Finance and International Business. Originally I am Ukrainian and I have always enjoyed meeting and communicating with people and learning new languages. In 2015, I joined the exciting and challenging bunker industry, particularly in Turkey, and my main focus regions have been Black Sea and Mediterranean. I am very proud to be a Bunker Trader at Dan-Bunkering, as in an always changeable and highly competitive bunker business, you need always to be up-to-date and best in what you are doing. I speak English, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Russian. My hobbies include sports, sailing, reading, and social dancing.

I was born in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, in 1987, however, I have lived in Denmark since 2005. I took all my higher education in Denmark and started as Bunker Trader at the head office in 2012. The bunker industry is a place where you can experience both challenges and excitement at the same time and this is the reason why I joined Dan-Bunkering. In 2015, I decided to relocate to our Shanghai office to continue my career and take on new challenges as well. I speak Chinese, English and basic Danish, and I like to spend my spare time with my friends and travel around the world when it is possible.

I have worked with Dan-Bunkering since 2001. I speak Chinese, English, Danish and some basic German.

I started working in Dan-Bunkering in 2020 and it was my great pleasure to be part of DB family. In 2018, I took my Master Degree in Shipping, Trade and Finance at Cass Business School. During my studies, the IMO 2020 really aroused my interest, aspiring me to work hard and become a member of the bunker industry. Working as a Bunker Trader is exactly the life that I love as high pace motivates me. During spare time, I enjoy playing archery, listening to musical/rock, visiting museums and undoubtedly, making new friends. Languages: Mandarin, English (and currently exploring others).
